The name of the hospital is kept in memory of its founder – (Late) Dr. R.P. Singh, Ex-HoD, Department of Orthopaedics, R.M.C.H., Ranchi. R.P.S. The hospital was upgraded from the five-decade-old Bariatu Nursing Home, a well-known landmark in the area. Established in 1965 by the eminent orthopedic surgeon Late Dr. R.P. Singh, R.P.S. Hospital has been serving all sections of society with ethical, affordable, and scientific healthcare.
